About Gabriel Bruskoff

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Gabriel did everything he could to avoid a film career. He even earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. His travels took him to Seattle, where, after a year as a professional engineer, Gabriel knew he could not escape the life of a filmmaker.

In 2008, Gabriel created Oldboy Productions. Since then, he has directed over a dozen short films, several of which have screened at festivals across the US, including those in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlantic City. He has also written several feature-length screenplays, while his latest, a neo-noir thriller in the vein of Bellflower and The Graduate, is currently in development.

Alongside filmmaking, Gabriel is an avid traveler, cook, and explorer of Los Angeles, and he loves soccer, playing with dogs, and microbrewed beers. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
